Delivery policy
Where do we deliver to?
We only deliver within the borders of South Africa. Please note that we are not able to deliver to P.O. Box addresses, only to physical addresses. If you live in an estate, please ensure that the security gate will allow the courier company to enter; otherwise, choose an alternative address to ensure speedy delivery. We do not deliver to addresses outside the SA border.
When can I expect my delivery?
Please allow for delays – Deliveries may take between 5 and 7 working days as a result of excessive orders. Orders are not processed over weekends but only on weekdays. The estimated time of delivery is within 48 hours in the Johannesburg and Pretoria area; 72 hours to other metropolitan areas and 96 hours to outlying areas from the time the payment is cleared. We will communicate with you should there be a delay. You should receive your parcel within 5 working days unless the courier experiences issues finding your address. Deliveries will only be made to the designated delivery address between 8 am and 5 pm Mondays to Fridays. No deliveries will be made on weekends and public holidays.
What will the delivery cost be for items purchased online?
Our delivery costs may differ, depending on the vendor. Some of our vendors charge a flat shipping rate, while others use their own courier. For most of the orders, we will use The Courier Guy. Delivery costs on your order will be visible, once you have logged into your profile and entered an address on the AgMarket website. The courier fees will be visible next to the payment options on the checkout page.
Can I change my delivery address?
Once you are logged into your account, you can access ‘My Profile’. You will have the ability to edit, add or delete any delivery addresses. You can also change your address at the checkout stage. If you need to change after the order has been dispatched, please contact info@agmarket.co.za for assistance.
Can I split the delivery to different addresses?
Unfortunately, deliveries cannot be split. Should you wish to deliver to different addresses, orders must be created and paid for separately.
How will I know when my order will be delivered?
You will receive emails with the progress of your parcel. Once a parcel is ready for collection the system will be updated and you will receive an email. When the courier picks up the order you will start receiving sms’ from our delivery partner with the progress of your parcel.
I was not available to accept the delivery. What do I do now?
If you were not at the specified delivery address the courier company will phone you later that day to arrange an alternative delivery time. AgMarket reserves the right to charge you an additional delivery fee if an alternate date and time are required.
My order has not arrived. What do I do?
