A cloned live vaccine, for the prevention of Newcastle Disease in fowlsCOMPOSITION PER DOSE:Live NDV, strain CL/79 clone  106.5 EID50ADMINISTRATION:Dissolve freeze-dried tablet in appropriate diluent and shake gently before administration via thefollowing routes:Eye drop:For use in chicks from day-old.Once the content of the vial is resuspended with the diluent, administer one drop (0.03 ml per fowl) ofthis vaccine, in the eye or nostril, using a standard dropper (30 ml per 1,000 doses).In the case of ocular administration, allow drop to spread across the surface of the eye and do notrelease the fowl until a swallowing motion has been note.Drinking water:For use in chicks from one week of age.Dissolve the tablet by lling half the bottle with the enclosed diluent, shake it and pour it into freshcool non-chlorinated water.Add 2 g of skim milk powder per litre of water (0,02%) for the stabilisation of the vaccine virus.Provide enough waterers so that at least two-thirds of the fowls may drink at one time.Wash waterers with fresh, clean, non-chlorinated water and DO NOT use any disinfectants. Let thewaterers drain dry.Turn off waterers so that the only available water is the vaccine medicated water (from ordinarywaterers).To stimulate thirst, withhold water for 1-2 hours, depending on ambient temperature beforevaccination.Mix the required number of doses of vaccine into an amount of water which the fowls will consume inapproximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.
